Greener's Premier League Tips

Everton v Manchester United

Everton have lost just twice in 13 league games at Goodison Park this season and have won their last four.  United have lost just one of their last seven away matches.  Everton have won only one of the last 29 meetings between the sides in the Premier League.  Only two of Everton’s last 10 home games have produced Over 2.5 goals.  United have won all 16 games in which they have scored first.  I recommend backing Under 2.5 goals.

Arsenal v Sunderland

Arsenal have won 10 of their 13 home games.  Sunderland are currently on a run of 12 games without a victory and have also gone 12 away games without a win.  Sunderland have managed just two draws from eight visits to North London.  Eleven of Arsenal’s 13 home games this season have produced Over 2.5 goals.  In this one I suggest a bet on Arsenal Half Time/Full Time and also back the Over 2.5 goals.

West Ham United v Hull City

West Ham have lost just two of their last 10 games at Upton Park.  Hull have yet to win from 13 attempts on their travels this season.  They have also failed to score in five of their last six away matches.  I suggest two bets in this one.  First I will be backing a West Ham win and also West Ham to keep a clean sheet.

Wolverhampton Wanders v Chelsea

Wolves have won only one of their last four home matches and have managed just a single goal in those games.  Chelsea have won just one of their last six away games.  Chelsea have won all three previous Premier League meetings between the sides scoring 14 goals in the process.  I recommend backing Chelsea to win 3-0 or 3-1.

Portsmouth v Stoke City

Portsmouth have just three of their 12 home games.  Stoke have drawn half of their 12 away matches.  Portsmouth are unbeaten in the five previous meetings between the sides at Fratton Park, winning four of them.  Only two of Stoke’s 12 away games have produced three goals or more.  In this one I suggest backing the draw and also Under 2.5 goals.

Blackburn Rovers v Bolton Wanderers

Blackburn have lost only one of their last 12 games at Ewood Park this season and have won their last three.  Bolton haven’t won any of their last nine away games, losing six of them.  In Blackburn’s last seven home games and Bolton’s last seven away games only two have produced Over 2.5 goals.  I recommend backing a Blackburn win and also Under 2.5 goals.

Aston Villa v Burnley

Villa have lost just one of their last 12 games at Villa Park.  They have managed just two goals in their last five home matches.  Burnley are still on course to set a Premier League record for the fewest points achieved away from home in a season.  It’s currently held by Derby County who achieved just three during the 2007/08 season, Burnley have just one point from their 13 away games.  Burnley have failed to score in their last six away games.  In this one I recommend backing Aston Villa to win 1-0 & 2-0.

Fulham v Birmingham City

Fulham have lost only one of their last 10 games at Craven Cottage and in those 10 games they have conceded only four times.  Birmingham have lost only two of their last 16 games.  Six of the last seven meetings between the two side at Craven Cottage have produced Under 2.5 goals.  I recommend a bet on the draw in this one and I will also be backing Under 2.5 goals.

Manchester City v Liverpool

City are still unbeaten at home this season, winning nine and drawing the other three.  They are currently on a run of six straight wins at Eastlands.  Carlos Tevez has scored seven times in those six wins.  Liverpool have won only two of their last 10 away games.  City have won only one of the last nine meetings between the sides in Manchester.   I suggest backing a Man City win in this one.

Wigan Athletic v Tottenham Hotspur

Wigan have won only one of their last eight home games.  Tottenham have won only two of their last 11 away matches.  Nine of Wigan’s 12 home games and six of Tottenham’s last seven away games have produced Under 2.5 goals.  In this one I recommend backing the Under 2.5 goals.

BANKER BET - Blackburn to win.

NEXT BEST - Arsenal Half Time/Full Time.

TREBLE - Fulham/Birmingham Under 2.5 goals.
